Reviews

Having tea at the Ritz is an unforgettable experience. From the moment you enter the hotel lobby till the moment you leave, the staff make you feel great and there is no request too difficult for them. I was in London for a short time and got lucky to find a spot online within my timeline since the calendar seemed to be booked out about 3 months in advance.

A special treat, to our good friend for her birthday. We wanted the Christmas Afternoon Tea rather than the standard one so as to enjoy the decorations. It may sound odd but our Afternoon Tea was at 7.30pm, the last sitting. The advantage being we were not "pushed out" for the next sitting.

We had the fantastic Christmas Afternoon Tea. Amazing experience from A to Z. The spectacular atmosphere at the Palm Court was breathtaking. Large selection of teas. The “Ritz Christmas” tea was delicious. The scones were cooked to perfection. We also got extra sandwiches. Excellent service. The experience was topped with bûche de Noël.

If you’re looking for a sophisticated / high end spot for afternoon tea you have to go to the Ritz! You will need reservations ahead of time, as spots get filled quickly. It was about 75 pounds per person and included 1 hour 45 minutes of afternoon tea. There are a lot of different teas to choose from. Each person gets their own tea pot.

I went for afternoon tea with my mum and it was incredible. To start, the service by Kamal and his team makes for a welcoming and warm experience. They source their tea selection from Sri Lanka, and there are many teas to choose from with the option to try as many teas as you like.
