Needed to change with lamp that was not responding to program only by manual light switch. Later found reason to be the lamp had moved to another room. Move lamp back to original room all good now puzzled how it happened but now got 2 spare lamps.

Tried Hive lights and persevered with them for years but they were so unreliable. Switched to Philips Hue and all my troubles disappeared. Hue bulbs work fine without a hub via Bluetooth, but to make the best of them I would recommend that you get a Hue hub.

To quote a well known Youtuber ........ "It just wooooooorks" - sure, he's being sarcastic, but bottom line is Hue products "just work" - no compatibility issues and you get what you pay for, decent quality products that will outlast cheaper versions. Good brightness and colour tone.

Works with hue as expected, sometimes light come on by themselves not sure why could.be software update. But lights must be switched on and controlled by app. If you manually switch it off then back on it doesn't always work. And when it's switched off you have no control.

I would definitely recommend this product, from one lazy potato to another. As stated above, it does react late sometimes, but only every now and then but it really isn't that bad. Maybe a second late, but that's all. Hope that if u get this, u have an amazing experience!
