I've been using this from the 1st gen. Every house I moved into, this is the very first thing I buy. The battery doesn't last as long as they claim to but it is so far the best smart lock I've ever used.
I was recently hospitalized and was really panicked about my dog as the only people with a spare key to my place were out of town. So I started researching locks that could be opened remotely or with a pin pad for emergencies.
These are a great retrofit lock. Connect well and provide a high level of security. You can open door remotely as well as create one-time passkeys for others. I only use when necessary to preserve battery life.
I have had one of these on my door for a year and have recently just purchased a 2nd one for another door. I have had experience with various other Smart Locks and this is by far my favorite!
