Aqua Shard – Peter Pan Afternoon Tea in the Sky
Rounding off our list is the magical Peter Pan Afternoon Tea at Aqua Shard, set high above London on Level 31 of The Shard. This colourful afternoon tea transforms J.M. Barrie’s beloved story into an enchanting culinary journey, one that delights the eyes as much as the taste buds.
Served on a custom tea stand inspired by Captain Hook’s pirate ship, the menu is packed with imaginative details. Think ‘Lost Boys’ chicken sandwiches, mushroom-shaped bread rolls, and warm scones tucked inside a whimsical treasure chest. Vibrant pastries bring Neverland to life, with every item crafted to evoke a sense of wonder and play.
What makes this afternoon tea stand out, and earn its place in our top five? Is the immersive creativity paired with Aqua Shard’s show-stopping city views. It’s an experience where storytelling and fine patisserie meet, offering both cream tea classics and inventive delights for all ages.
A portion of proceeds supports Great Ormond Street Hospital, making it a feel-good treat as well. Whether you’re reliving childhood memories or introducing someone to Neverland for the first time, Aqua Shard delivers a truly colourful afternoon tea adventure like no other.
Reviews

We had Peter Pan Afternoon Tea and it was a lovely experience. The food was tasty, the presentation was wonderful, the view was amazing with both seats facing the window and the table shaped like an egg giving us enough space. Service was very professional, friendly and accommodating. Our coats were taken into the locker at the entrance.

Such a unique and exciting Peter Pan themed afternoon tea shared by myself and my husband. All the staff were welcoming, friendly, and attentive to our needs, including the security staff upon entry to the Shard. We had a table by the window, and the views were amazingly bright and clear considering it was a cold January day.

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing afternoon tea at Aqua Shard, and I must say, it was absolutely delightful. From the breathtaking views of London to the exquisite presentation of the tea and treats, everything was perfect. I would highly recommend Aqua Shard for anyone looking to enjoy a luxurious and unique afternoon tea experience in London.

We booked afternoon tea today 09/10 and me and my partner both agreed that this was one of the best Afternoon tea parties. It was our anniversary which was acknowledged at the desk when we were entering the restaurant but also, we were given a plate with two beautifully presented sweets, and a chocolate plaque saying Happy Anniversary.

Definitely the best afternoon tea we have ever had! The whole experience was excellent and couldn’t have been any better. We had a window seat with views of the Thames and Tower Bridge. The food was wonderful, beautifully presented and delicious and expertly explained, with substitutions for allergens where necessary. Would highly recommend afternoon tea here.
