Traditional Afternoon Tea
The menu features freshly made sandwiches on white and malted bloomer bread with fillings such as Coronation Chicken, Cucumber & Dill Crème Fraîche, Prawn with Marie Rose & Baby Gem, and Welsh Cheddar & Red Onion Marmalade. Warm fruit scones with strawberry jam and Cornish clotted cream follow, alongside miniature sweet creations like Strawberry & Champagne Choux Buns, Chocolate Tart with Honeycomb & Miso, and Raspberry & Pistachio Opera. A pot of tea or coffee completes the experience, with a variety of blends available.
Sparkling Afternoon Tea
Upgrade with a glass of prosecco or select from premium options including Laurent Perrier Brut or Rosé, the Chelsea Rose cocktail, or Whispering Angel rosé wine.

We recently visited Lanelay Hall Hotel and Spa for a relaxing spa break celebrating my 30th birthday. The spa package included access to the spa facilities for 2 hours, afternoon tea, and a treatment of your choice. The afternoon tea was delightful, with a variety of sandwiches, scones, and sweet treats, all beautifully presented.
The afternoon tea selection is brilliant, really different compared to most afternoon teas. We started with soup, then we were given mini fish and chips, mini burgers, and a selection of cakes. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable.

Our stay was an afternoon tea treat and overnight stay for our 70th birthdays. We had a deluxe room with complimentary use of the spa facilities. The BLOK restaurant was stunning with an intimate atmosphere. Our meal was delicious (although we were still full after our afternoon tea!). I'd definitely recommend Lanelay Hall to my friends.
